Join us for Echoes from the Archive, our first annual symposium focused on The Driskell Center Archives Collection. The symposium will feature opening remarks from writer and professor Dr. George Orwel (Editor & Host, Culture Road Podcast; Adjunct Professor, The City University of New York).

A keynote speech from artist, curator, and art historian Dr. Leslie King Hammond (Founding Director of the Center for Race and Culture, MICA; Graduate Dean Emeritus, MICA) "Odyssey + Serendipity x Crimes of Opportunity = Archives of Endless Possibilities!", and research presentations from the inaugural cohort of The Driskell Center Archive Fellows, followed by a Q&A.
